Fiction notice
Editorial disclosureThe Arthur Valerius Sterling Foundation, its archive, and the papers attributed to Sterling are fictional and diegetic elements of Proyecto Sterling.
This site presents a constructed archive within a work of fiction. Arthur Valerius Sterling is not a real scientist, and the Foundation is not a real institution.
The papers are fictional scholarly documents. They are unsubmitted, unpublished, and not validated scientific results. Their historical references are real where identified, but those references do not validate the fictional hypothesis.
How to read the layers
| Layer | What it means here |
|---|---|
| Factual | Information that can be checked within the archive or against an identified real external source. Factual references do not make the fictional story or its hypotheses real. |
| Hypothetical | Speculative propositions attributed to Sterling, including the claims and questions developed in the papers. |
| Editorial | Contemporary notes, classifications, corrections, and limits supplied by the team presenting the archive. |
| Transmedia | Material created across the wider Proyecto Sterling universe, including this diegetic archive and later narrative pieces. |
Document status
Paper-specific catalogue pages retain their visible labels: fictional / diegetic, unsubmitted, unpublished, and not validated. These labels describe the documents and are not replaced by this general notice.
